The prizepool sneaked over the $1million mark after 101 entries appeared, meaning 15 players would be taking home a paycheque – Max Lehmanski missing out on the bubble, but Niklas Astedt and Ben Lamb among those making the cash.

Ireland’s Mark Davies made it to the final eight, banking $32,320 to go with an earlier final table in the huge online series. Likewise, his compatriot John O’Shea had also already taken a $150k+ cash earlier in the week, yesterday adding a 6th place and $41,915复古传奇sf for a very successful WPT Online run.

Norway’s Andreas Torbergsen has been considered a PLO crusher for a long time now, his pinned tweet from early last year explaining why the game still fascinates him…

A 5th place and $63,125 was yesterday’s haul, and he was followed to the rail by Yuri Dzivielevski who pocketed $86,860 in 4th spot.

That left a big-name trio to slug it out for the title, Mercier, Blom and Loeliger复古传奇sf considered to be three of the modern-day greats.

The Swede, who shot to fame and fortune as the anonymous Isildur1 - now over a decade ago – had to settle for 3rd place yesterday, $121,200复古传奇sf in the kitty and leaving Loeliger and Mercier heads-up.

Loeliger was another once-upon-a-time anonymous online crusher, the true identity of his LlinusLlove moniker finally leaked after some highstakes transfers on the 2+2 forum marketplace gave the game away.

复古传奇sf Mercier has been much less-active over the past couple of years since becoming a father, but when he does pop up he seems to win with alarming regularity.

So it proved again, Mercier toppling Loeliger to pick up the $279,265 top prize and his first WPT title.
